MTA Changes to Summersville Loop and Fares for the CAR 5 8 2020 Effective June 1, 2020
Summersville Loop Public Notice
The Mountain Transit Authority in Summersville, WV is the Federal Transit Administration’s, Section 5311 Rural Transit Provider for Greenbrier, Nicholas, and Webster Counties proposes effective June 1, 2020 to discontinue the Summersville Loop and replace it with an additional CALL-A-RIDE service. The service will run Monday-Friday, 7:30am-8:00pm.
MTA proposes to change the CALL-A-RIDE service fares from $1.50 in the Summersville city limits to $1.00, MTA plans to keep the fare of $3.00 for outside of the Summersville city limits. MTA will not charge the extra fare for same day service as in the past.
THE NEW SERVICE WILL BE EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2020.
